The New Story

Where Do Your Stories Come From?

The stories that we have inherited have often been stories of separation, not connection; selfishness, not sharing; scapegoating, not responsibility for the common good.

Where do your stories come from?

Who taught them to you?

Are they true?

Are they helpful?

What can you hope for?

Is there a more compassionate way to tell your story?

What parts of the story do you need to leave behind?

What parts of an old story do you want to claim for yourself?

We are wired for connection - and if we can question stories of separation, we can begin to imagine a new story: a story in which everyone belongs, in which everyone gets their needs met, in which everyone plays a part in the evolution of the common good: for people, for the earth, and even for things we can't yet see.  The New Story Festival is one of the places doing just that. And you're invited.
